This game would almost entirely be based on online gaming, like I said in my description, just to give an idea of what Im talking about Grand Theft Auto, Driver2 and Gran Turismo crossed, but only in a few ways.

I have a couple of ideas about non-online play, but unless you have a broadband Internet connection the game would be just another racing game. You would start the game by picking your character or, creating one in an editor. You would then go on to pick your very first car, truck or vehicle. This vehicle is a given.

At the beginning of the game there would be about 3 different cities to choose from. We will call them rookie towns. But the rest of the cities would be locked, only available to more advanced players, along with a lot of special vehicles from assorted dealerships, but most available cars would simply be to expensive to purchase right away.

The main point of the game would be to become a professional racecar driver by competing in each towns events and trying to win each competition.

Each competition held would be against other players around the world in real time, through online servers such as, "MICROSOFTS XBOX LIVE".

Here is where it gets interesting. Eventually, in time you would be sponsored and given actual racecars, but you have to get noticed by the sponsors first.

In order to be accepted into a competition your car would have to meet the required standards of the race, you have little money to start out with so you need to earn money in street races and other tasks in the game, for your first upgrade again the street races would be against real players, around the world, in real time. You would use the money you win to upgrade your car/cars.

Another thing, bets on street races would be preformed by both players interactively. Example: I bet 1, you see my 1, and raise me 2, plus, you would have the option to lay your entire car on the line by betting pink slips if you choose.

Upgrades.

The upgrading system would be very large from tires, superchargers and suspension to little things like chrome, exhaust kits, ground effects, so on and so forth of course, every thing would cost money and every thing you add to your vehicle would add value to it.

Scheduled Race Competitions.

Once you’ve entered into a competition if you have met the requirements, you would be given a date and time the competition is being held. This is necessary because not every one can race at one time and be organized. If you were not at the competition on time you would simply forfeit your position in the race. Then you would qualify the same as everyone else to determine your starting position, after this the competition would begin. There would be a purse for every race won and winnings could be spent however you chose, on a new car in your price range, towards an upgrade on your old one or other things.

Cities.

Cities would be where you live and would be fairly large, each one with a few car dealerships containing certain cars for each level, also car washes for fun and other recreational type mini game buildings Your garage where you keep your car/cars would also be in the city and all of the different event buildings. Your apartment would be close to your garage.

Events

Each separate event: "meaning, more than one event per city" would be different. Lets say city #1 has 3 events, each event easy enough for beginners to pass and each event would be different. Example: Event #1 is a 5-lap race around an oval paved track; Event #2 is an endurance race, and event # 3 an off road rally, these are just examples. They could be anything.

City #2 would have 2 or 3 more events than the first city and each event would be more difficult. Not because the computer or game developers choose the difficulty but, because of the skill levels of the human opponents. The reason: players would always be winning money, buying new cars and upgrading them. And finally-

Game play

The game would play very open, like Driver 1or 2 and GTA3 or Vice City.

Players would cruise around in their pimped out rides in the cities when they had nothing to do or if they didn’t have enough money to upgrade their cars, they could challenge another player to street race, upgrade their car enough to enter into a competition or if they didn’t want to enter into a competition they wouldn’t have to. And then players would go on from there. After they finished a competition, they could buy, sell or trade cars with other players, their friends or dealerships. Swap parts with other players or friends, lend cash to there friends or who ever, chat in parking lots, alley ways or buildings, create gangs of friends or what ever people want to do. There is a lot of potential here. It would also be interesting if you could leave your car in your garage or park it and lock it on the street, and take a walk, that is, if you could get out of your car.

This could be a good game, I know I would defiantly want to play it if it where structured right and out on store shelves. One more thing, the events would be similar to Gran Turismo 3, with the nice looking graphics and all.

If you have any questions or comments PLEASE! E-mail me I have a lot more ideas about this game, and others just swimming around my head.

Thanks.
