The Legend of Zelda: Crystal Heart
This game starts off in Outset Island, Link and Aryll are enjoying their welcome-home party that is running deep into the night. You and Aryll are talking on her Lookout Tower. Suddenly screams carry themselves up from the party. Link and Aryll look down.
Animals are everywhere, attacking the villagers in a mad and crazy way. Aryll tells you to get down and run home to get your sword and shield. When Link runs into his house, a bird exits the house through an open window, carrying his sword and shield in its talons. Link quickly exits the house after it, and chases it up the mountain and into the forest.
When Link finally catches up to it he realizes it was just a large baby bird. The baby bird hides under its gigantic mother bird with the sword and shield. The mother bird is laying on the ruins of the fairy fountain, which she destroyed to make her nest. This is the first boss and Link has to destroy it by finding a way to do so without his sword and shield.
After killing the large bird, the baby bird is scared and flys away into the sea. You grab your sword and shield and turn away. But right away Link hears something calling his name. You find a crystal formed into a perfect heart-shape. A captivating and uniqe light flashes in the middle of the crystal, like a beating heart. The Crystal Heart is speaking to Link.
"Link! I am Terihduul, Goddess of Animals. When you destroyed Ganon and banished him, he counterstriked by putting a spell on me! He trapped me in this Crystal Heart, and with me trapped my Children are becoming crazy! Eventually, if you don't do anything, they will turn to Ganon, bringing him enough power to resseruct him! I will guide you to the Seven Animal Sages. They will teach you their Animal Dances. Once you learn all Seven, you can let me free!"
And from their, Link sets off across the seas like he did in the Wind Waker game. He will use the Wind Waker in this game too. The first Dance Link will learn his the Lunar Tango, which turns him into a Ghost Wolf. He grows magical white-fur human that can camoflouge into certain places, like snow or white walls.
But to use an Animal Dance, Link has to stand on a Dance Symbol. You are given a certain amount of time, and when the time runs out, Link turns back to his normal self. When he is a Ghost Wolf, he can use magic to howl, which echoes and confuses and distracts enemies. The next Animal Dance he learns is the Deku Groove, to turn into a Glide Owl
This changes your arms to owl-like wings and your feet to owl-like talons. You can't fly, but glide in this state. Also, you can carry certain objects with your talons and drop them on switches or enemies - like a rock or a bomb. The next Animal Dance is the Gorgole Rhythm which turns you into a Gorgole.
In this State, you grow a Drill-Horn on your head. The Drill-Horn has the ability to drill through certain barriers that can't be destroyed any other way. It is also equivalent to the shovel in Link's Awakening because you can drill into the ground to find Rupees and secrets, or to refill your hearts. Also, if you travel far to the south, the ocean turns to ice, which is called the Frozen Sea. There is Island further south, but to get to the point, you can drill into the ice to ice-fish or find secrets. The next Animal Dance is the Scorpio Beat.
Obviously, this turns you into a small scorpion. You can crawl into very very small holes that are needed to get further in the game, or just to find treasure or secret heart pieces. You can also poision enemies - at least some of them - with your stinger. When you are a scorpion, you have a bar that shows how much venom you have left.
The fifth Animal Dance is called the Ocarina Swing. This turns you into an Ocarina Bird. This bird is small and can glide a little less longer than the Glide Owl. Like in the Ocarina of Time game, but with a bird instead, you can learn songs to play that will help you in the game. The sixth Animal Dance is the Dolphin Twirl which turns you into the Trinity Dolphin.
This Trinity Dolphin is unique because you have unlimited air. In the game there is a underground level called the Zora Reef. When you are the Trinity Dolphin you can swim through Reef Tunnels and enter a dungeon where you can actually become the normal Link again. You can talk to Zoras in this state and understand their language, and also, the Trinity Dolphin can destroy certain Reef Barriers with a high-pitch Trinity Supersonic that takes up magic.
The last Animal Dance is the Lizard Spin which turns you into a Firespitter, also known as a Fire Lizard. These Lizards can spit out Fireballs which uses up magic. These can be used to harm enemies or to destroy barriers like spiderwebs.
Outset Island is in the center of the ocean this time. I will start from the southern part of the ocean - the Frozen Sea. There are two levels on the Frozen Sea - Polar Peaks and Luna-Deku Forest. The Luna-Deku tree is tree of pure ice, brother to the Deku Tree. To the north is the Merchant Islands which you have to go to many times. A little further north is Olymico Island and the Wild Maelstrom. You have to enter a huge cyclone and go to the bottom of the sea for a dungeon. And further north is Gorgole Island which is a Island with huge mountains, home to the Gorgoles. This Island is much like Rito Island in the Wind Waker game. A little further north is the center of the ocean and to the east of Outset Island is Zora Reef.
Now, further north in the northen hemisphere now, is Desert Moon Island - a Island of Desert Land in the shape of a crescent moon. The Deku tree is around here too, another level and in the middle of these two places is Caradill Isles. This is much like Merchant Islands and you have to come here many times too. To the northeast of the Deku Tree is the Drowned Forest. This used to the Forbidden Forest, but it sunk into the ocean. Now another evil has awakened in it. Further to the north is the Vulcane Island, where you learn the dance of the Fire Lizard. This is a very volcanic island. To the northwest of this island is Magi Haven Island, an Island where you bring many items to be made into potions and stuff. To the northeast of Vulcane Island is Shadow Keep.
Shadow Keep is the new evil place. At the end of the game you come here, the last level. It is a huge level. You travel higher and higher until you come to the Black Tower, on top of the Shadow Keep. You have to re-destroy all the bosses you already fought in the Black Tower, the first boss for the first level of the Black Tower. On the roof of the Black Tower Ganon's brother - a new addition - Tranon is the last boss.
In this game you get several rings which enable you to do cool manuevers. You do not get the leaf in this game to hover. Instead you get a ring that lets you get a Triple Jump Manuever and another ring that lets you cloak yourself for two seconds to help in battle. I hope you like this idea!!!
-- I am making some changes --
Right now I would like to say that the beginning scquence is changing. Link doesn't get the Crystal Heart on the night of the party. Instead he gets at a year later! It begins with Link dancing with a girl as the same age as he. After the dance, the girl and Link lay down because they want to watch the stars. Link and the girl watch the constellation of the Goddess of Courage. All of a sudden the constellation flashes brightly three times. They stand up in confusion, and a scream breaks the silence. The scream is that of Aryll's and it is coming from the lookout tower. Link looks up at the lookout tower to find Aryll being attacked by Seagulls. Link runs up there and gets rid of the Seagulls and yells for help. Three people come up to help bring her down, then one of the men yells warning to Link. Link looks around to find a large hawk come crashing into his face and he falls over the lookout tower. He falls into shallow water and falls into a deep coma where he doesn't wake for another year.
When Link wakes up he learns that the animal attacks have been getting much worse and that the two wise brothers - one who taught him how to use the sword and the other who taught him about wisdom - were dead. They were attacked by animals and since they were very old they had no chance of survival. As a result from the coma, Link forgot all information on how to use the sword and shield, and similar and related things. He completely forgot what the Wind Waker/baton thing is and has to learn how to use it again. This brings much more value to the gameplay. I will be working on more information to add to this game idea for the future.
-- April 6'th Update --
I have created a new addittion to be implemented into this game. Like in Majoras Mask, there are many special masks for secrets and the like. Rings will play a huge part in this game as well as the Animal Dances. This is the Ring Creation System. There will be over fifty rings for secrets to unlock - minigames, boss survival mode, or original Zelda game to be unlocked. To create the rings you can find artifacts, substances, gems - like in Diablo 2 - and powders and crystals and many other things. You can bring things to an Ring Alchemist and pay him to experimentally combine things into one ring. Sometimes it makes nothing and sometimes it creates AWESOME stuff!!! I hope to create more ideas similar to this and to evolve the story, so be prepared to soon be blasted away!!!
-- April 10'th update --
The first quest Link takes on in the game is to sail to the Frozen Sea and find the Blademaster of Pikalli, the City of Snow. Since the wise man who taught you how to use a sword in the first game is dead this is the only way for Link to relearn his sword techniques. In this sequel the sword-battle-sytem is more evolved, having more manuevers and combo-attacks and special attacks. You can't learn all of them at once. You can only learn the basic moves to start out with. The blademaster's name is Treik. He tells you that he will teach you a new manuever if you bring him a Sword Gem. There are many Sword Gems throughout the world and each has a certain move. After you learn the basic attacks you have to head back to Outset Island.
