First of al this idea for Virtual Reality at home will be bought in a kit that includes the chair, the Foot Stick, and the Body Control. Now I am thinking that if it is possible that this could be used with X-Box, PS2, GameCube, maybe even PC, but I don't like the idea of PC because not everyone has the same speed and with consoles everyones speed is the same, but I am not sure of that. Now the Foot Stick would be like this big Joy Stick on a circle platform, where the center of the platform would be the lowest and the outside of it higher so it is like a Skateboard Bowl but with flat diagonal lips(it is hard to explain things in type so bare with me). The Foot Stick would be in the middle, and the movements could be up for forward, down for backward, twist left and right for turning your character around, and left and right for like side stepping. And your feet will go on the top of the Stick with like pedal like buttons when pressed or lifted for jumping and ducking. Then on to the Body Control...This could be like gloves for your hands and fingers movements, with elbow pads for the arm movement, along with something for your torso. Then a head set for seeing, head movement and a microphone with head phones for communication. Now it would be cool if this was used in MMOG's, and for the communication part...their could be this system where you choose who you talk with and you can have like a lot of people talking with you at the same time and you can choose to ignore people incase they are annoying or something...this would also be good to tell if the person that is playing is a boy or a girl and there will be no guys playing girl characters. WHen someone wants to talk with you it appears at the bottom of your view, then you could like turn around and see who it is and choose to talk or not with a button or something on the side of the chair. There is a lot of other things I have thought of for this to work in MMOG's, but I could probably go on forever...but I wont so I guess this is the end to my little idea that I hope people actually think about! :D Link
