Original Six
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Project <no name yet> was an attempt to breed the perfect soldiers. In their attempts, scientists created the hormone XH-1. When mice were injected with XH-1, an increase in strength, agility, and intelligence was seen. There were side effects however. After 23 hours, the mice’s health would slowly begin to deteriorate. After 38 hours, the mice would die of multiple organ failures. Later modifications to XH-1, saw an increase in the life-span of the mice. Despite the complications with XH-1, the hormone was pushed to human testing. XH-1 was secretly injected into six unborn children in six different cities in the U.S. The children were monitored throughout the pregnancies and their lives. Unfortunately, they did not show any signs of abnormalities. The test was deemed a failure.
Soon after the first child was born, another group of scientists were contracted by the government to make the appropriate modifications to XH-1 in order for it to work successfully. Initial tests with the modified hormone, then named XH-2, were successful and it went on to human testing. Instead of using a surrogate mother for the new children, an experimental machine, originally invented for cloning, was used. When the new children were born it soon became apparent that they were much faster, stronger, and more intelligent than normal. The project, then named Nemesis, was a success.
Two decades after the initial project, the original six children are all grown up and live their lives like any ordinary person. At this time, their is an outbreak of a mysterious virus. The World Health Organization pushes for a law that requires every person in the world to get a newly developed vaccine. The law is passed. The vaccine is successful and the virus is eliminated.
Meanwhile, odd things begin to happen to the six. They soon begin to notice that they are becoming stronger and more agile then before. Their intelligence also seems to be improving and they begin to discover that they have developed telepathic and telekinetic abilities. This, however, is just the beginning.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story Mode
Original Six begins with you choosing who you want to start with. You have a choice between any of the six. Three live in the U.S. and the other three live in other parts of the world. One lives in Canada, one in Japan, and the other in the U.K. The Canadian was born in the U.S. to Canadian parents. The Japanese one was born to Japanese immigrants and went to live with his grandfather in Japan when his parents were murdered. The English one went to the U.K. when his parents transferred jobs there, and has lived there ever since. They all have the same abilities and skill levels except for the one in Japan. He unlocked his abilities early on and kept them secret, while training with his grandfather. He is the most powerful of the six.
The team that “created ” the six learns about their new found abilities and prepares to bring them in to be studied. Most of the game would involve you playing as each character trying to evade and fend off the people who are after you. You’d be able fight at incredibly fast speeds and even catch and deflect bullets at one point (you would slowly get faster and stronger as time goes on). You’d also be able to use your telekinetic ability to move objects and people using a special targeting system, as well as reading peoples minds.
There is also the threat of the Nemesis team. The Nemesis team are sent to track down the original six. They have no mercy and may not follow orders to bring you in alive. They are also much stronger and faster then you.
Original Six won’t always involve fighting. There would also be levels involving you searching for information. You may have to use your abilities to sneak around government offices. You can use your telepathy to read the minds of guards, make them hallucinate and think you are another person. You could even evolve far enough to control other people for short periods of time. As the game progresses you will slowly unlock the story to your past.
Challenge Mode
If you get tired of story mode, you can try your hand at many different challenges. This would include things like seeing how long you can last against endless rounds of enemies without the use of weapons, how fast you can destroy an area, etc…
Multiplayer
As well as the single player mode, there would also be a multiplayer mode. You can play against up to four players in split screen matches or you can do certain cooperative story mode missions. Only missions involving more than one character can be played as cooperative. Some levels will allow you to play as the Nemesis team against the original(s).
In arena matches you’d choose characters, the level (the mall, parking garage, plaza), weapons, and some other options. You have an option to turn realism mode on or off. This determines whether or not normal characters (guards, civilians) can have abilities like the Six and the Nemesis team. You’d also have the ability to select up to sixteen CPU characters.
Summary of Features:
× Single player story mode × Up to four player cooperative story mode × Single and multiplayer challenges × Four player split-screen multiplayer × Ability to read minds, move objects (telekinesis), control others, and fight at high rates of speed × Substantial list of multiplayer characters, levels, weapons, etc… ×Deep plot
I’ll add more to this when ever more features pop into my mind. I’m posting all information about this game idea and my other game ideas on my website. I’ll post a link when I get it organized a bit more. The site will have a lot more information then I can post here.

I'm a real sucker for these kinds of games, using genetically enhanced people with psychic abilities is always fun. only problem is that the concept of that drug sounds too generic, but that does give u a chance to build on other aspects of the game. anyway, that's not really a problem if the game had plenty of story details and a very very interesting ending. great job

Whenever you get hurt in the game, or get a headache from using too many psychic abilities, you could find bottles of XH-2. And, a cool weapon to deprive your advanced enemies of their superhuman abilities, could be XH-1, sort of acting like an antidote of the powerful supplement XH-2

Wouldn't work

That wouldn't work. XH-1 and XH-2 are artificial hormones not found in high abundance. They wouldn't be found all over the place. As for "psychic health", you'd have a meter that would go down as you use your powers. If you don't use any abilities for a while then it slowely goes back up.

Well done. I love the concept of this game as well as the plot. I can't wait to see it finished and out in stores. Keep up the good work.
Question: Where exactly in the U.S. are the other three specimens? or does that even matter?
Just a thought: If one of them were near Washington D.C. (near government officials) they may be able to get to or access information faster (to figure out their past).

I like the idea of telekenisis, maybe like a flight power, maybe an object lift power, maybe a spontaneous combut power (on someone else) Each of the Six should have a always-on power, to appeal to various play styles, like one is partially invisible, the other is insanely fast, another is super-strong, etc. Just please don't get into an X-men "misunderstood society" kind of thing. That's just too old
