The title of my game is: Race to Creation

Story:

Predetermination runs through your veins. You have no mind of your own, no personality, no emotions. You are released to accomplish one task and one task only - strive for creation.

Gameplay:

Each level begins with a scene staring Bob, a sex addict, on his way to making love (sexual intercourse) with an attractive, young woman. Bob will be accompanied by a different woman in subsequent scenes, on account that he has weird commitment issues (don't ask). These scenes end at the appropriate time, as to not displease the audience. After the scene ends, the race begins.

Throughout this game you play as a single sperm cell. Your objective, in each level, is to race through the fallopian tubes to the uterus, belonging to the woman in the previous scene, and reach the egg; to complete fertilization.
You will race amongst many competitors (sperm cells) within many levels. Each level will feature a new thoroughly vivid path, or tunnel (fallopian tube); all consisting of different attributes. Some contract and expand, some twist maniacally, while others climb then drop suddenly. Sharp turns, blockades, and many other hazardous elements will appear in these tunnels, requiring you to master your sperm cell's controls and stay focused to safely reach the egg first.

Finishing first will allow you to progress to the next level. Finishing second, or third for that matter, means nothing; except that you have failed. If you have, in fact, finished second or below, you must restart the previous level.

Obstacles: As simple as it may seem, swimming about the fallopian tubes amongst numerous components, maneuvering between birth control devices, and escaping natural female bodily defenses, is quite the ordeal. Throughout your objective, you are bound to come across treacherous, if not numerous, obstacles. A list of impediments, including descriptions, is as follows:

• Diaphragm- Although Bob does not use protection himself, the women in which he will be impregnating may be. With that been said, be prepared to come across some of the many birth control devices, such as the infamous diaphragm. This contraceptive disk is determined to prevail over the legion of sperm cells. Designed to cover the uterine cervix, this may be the most difficult obstacle to overpass. WARNING: A high level, if not maximum, amount of turbo boost (see 'Turbo Boost' below) is required to overpower the diaphragm.

• Spermicide- Subsisting of it’s medical entity, this faint sap of a liquid spreads hastily around the fallopian tubes, in hopes of captivating and exterminating you and your fellow competitors. When swimming amidst spermicidal liquids, you will notice a lack in speed. Remaining within them for too long can be critical to your health and, in fact, deadly!

• ”The Pill”- The Pill is a tablet containing synthetic hormones. When absorbed into a woman’s bloodstream, the hormones activate female bodily defenses. In this case, it thickens cervical mucous, hinders the passage of sperm, and thins the lining of the uterus; which minimizes the chances of fertilization. Complicated? Not really. In simpler terms, when traveling through the fallopian tubes, you may find large pores dripping of discolored mucous. When near these pores, they will spit the mucous in your direction. Dodge the flying mucous, for it is definitely critical to your health!

• “Stage 2”- Containing synthetic hormones, the Pill is not one to ignore; for it consists of numerous side effects. As the female bodily defenses have already been activated, the second stage of impediment will follow the spitting pores. As an immediate reaction to these hormones, what was once dripping mucous will enshroud the tunnels in which you inhabit. Escape quickly, for this infestation will cause the walls, and subsequently the whole tunnel, to contract. Because of this adversely effect, it will now be intensely difficult to progress along with the numerous competitors in, what is now, a significantly narrow tunnel.

• “Enforcer Cells”- But wait! For you have not escaped the last and final effect of the perilous Pill. The massive infestation of mucous has called forth assistance in order to cease your existence. Resembling the figures of tadpoles, with mounted sirens, another manifestation will rise. Lurking at random and ready to strike, lie the dreaded Enforcer Cells. When encountered, these cells will form a pursuit, attempting to “pull you over” while constricting your scope of maneuverability.
Fortunately, the fallopian’s finest communicate publicly, allowing you to “listen in” on their formation strategies and dialogue. "SPERM-BLOCKER 1, DO YOU READ ME?  I HAVE SPOTTED ILLEGAL RACERS!  BEGIN PURSUIT!"

Energy boosters: Swimming through the fallopian tubes in the rapid tides of vaginal fluids can be not only hazardous, from the many obstacles, but tiring as well! Not to worry, throughout each "tunnel" you will see priceless sugars floating ahead or along side. These sugars act as energy boosters. Collecting these will immediately mend any injuries that occurred during the race, and revitalize strength and determination. Energy boosters may only refuel the Turbo Boost Bar (mentioned later) when the player contains the maximum determination level (100%).

Determination: A small number at the bottom right corner of the screen represents the player’s determination level. The determination level, shown by percentage, lowers when the player is distracted (being shoved, etc.) or injured. Each level in which the player’s determination drops effects the sperm cell’s performance, thus swimming slower. This problem can easily be fixed by collecting the proper amount of energy boosters needed. Once an energy booster is collected, when in critical condition (low determination level), it will automatically restore a portion of the player’s determination. If the player's determination drops beyond a critical level (10%) they will be eliminated from the race.
NOTE: The player's determination level is also raised when and if the player distracts the other racers (shoving, etc.) and/or remains in first place for a reasonable amount of time.

Competitors (enemies): Men produce billions of sperm. Isn’t each sperm cell identical? The fact is, NO, they are not. Although, each sperm cell’s objective is the same, their physical traits and characteristics are not.

While racing against the numerous competitors (sperm cells) you are bound to notice that each of them may or may not look, or even act, alike! A list containing the TYPES of sperm cells, in which the player can select to control, is listed below.

• “Egg Getters”- Maintaining the majority of the race, sixty percent of the army of sperm cells are sleek, racing sperm or "egg-getters". These specific sperm cells focus on what lies ahead and how they will overcome the ensuing obstacle, rather than the massive chaos behind them. Propelling swiftly and steadily through the tunnels of terror, these cells are determined to reach the egg; thus they shove frequently.
- If selected, although this particular type of sperm cell possesses no unusual or surprising abilities, an Egg Getter instinctively contains a high level of determination; therefore activating "turbo boost" (mentioned later) will not be difficult from the start.
(Handling: avg. Speed: avg. Determ: high)

• “Blockers”- Exhibiting wide and muscular body structures, numerous coiled tails, and significantly large heads, these peculiar types of sperm cells are specifically difficult to overtake; as a crowd of these enormities could easily block the entire tunnel. Warning: shoving these unsightly sperm cells could decrease your determination level. A thrusting charge, empowered by turbo boost, just might do the trick!
- If selected, you will find it quite easy to maneuver yourself throughout the tunnels, as inducing havoc amongst the many competitors is executed by a single shove. Be careful, for these types of sperm cells are equally vulnerable to the majority of obstacles.
(Handling: high Speed: low Determ: avg.)

• “Serpents”- Possessing pointy and poisonous heads, these cannibalistic sperm cells travel individually and strike all who cross their path. Beware, multiple bites from these quick, miniature, monstrosities can be deadly, or drastically decrease your determination level.
- If selected, both the 'bump right' and 'bump left' buttons of the maneuverability controls (see 'Button Configuration' below) will enable the sperm cell to perform a bite instead; doing so repetitively to other sperm cells will increase your determination level.
(Handling: low Speed: high Determ: avg.)

• “Manipulerms”- Highly intelligent and quick sperm cells, manipulerms are excellent at determining whether a safe or hazardous environment is ahead, thus other cells tend to follow their lead. However, these slick and deceptive little mischiefs may trick others into taking a wrong turn or guide them into dangerous conditions. Beware these seductive pip-sqeaks, as they may lead you straight into hazardous surroundings!
- If selected, the ability to lure others into emulating your movements, plus a radar system (which illuminates hazardous elements within a reasonable radius), is accessible to the player for a limited time; if and only a certain amount of energy boosters is collected.
(Handling: avg. Speed: avg. Determ: high)

• "Infectoids"- Bearing a neon glow from high levels of radiation, these cells were once deadly serpents. Watch out for these pesky fiends, as they still love to bite! A few nips from these radiated sperm cells could turn you into one of them. With the ability to inflate themselves to enormous sizes and burst unexpectedly, not only might you be caught in their blast, it may trigger chain reactions through entire groups of their kind!
- If selected, both the ‘bump right’ and ‘bump left’ buttons of the maneuverability controls (see 'Button Configuration' below) will enable the sperm cell to perform a bite instead; doing so repetitively to an opponent will infect them (increasing your determination level), consequently mutating them into a fellow Infectoid. CAUTION: Biting a fellow Infectoid will inject an even higher level of radition into them, causing their size to inflate and eventually explode. Beware, as fellow Infectiods will not hesitate to bite you!
(Handling: avg. Speed: high Determ: low)

Button Configuration: (PC controls-keyboard)

W-accelerate (flap tail)
D-glide right (turn head)
A-gilde left (turn head)
S-deaccelerate (stop tail)

Top Arrow-climb (ascend)
Bottom Arrow-dive (descend)
Right Arrow-bump right (shove)
Left Arrow-bump left (shove)

Space Bar-Turbo Boost

The start of each level will begin with a sudden forward thrust, forcing you forward through a crowded, or cramped, shaft; where you will then enter the tunnel, along with many other competitors. The forward thrust will cause you to accelerate extremely; however, your speed will eventually decrease if you fail to flap your tail (hold ‘W’ to accelerate).

As mentioned before, each tunnel will feature sharp turns, blockades, and other obstacles that you must maneuver yourself over, under, or between. Maneuvering yourself around these obstacles is intended to be difficult. Fellow competitors will cut through your pathway, shove you, and stop directly in front of you (decreasing you determination level); which requires an acceptably good reaction time to your maneuverability controls. You too will be able to block, shove, and cut in front of your opponents, causing their speed to decrease (and your determination level to increase).

Turbo Boost: Holding ‘W’ allows you to accelerate at a swift and steady speed; but you will soon realize that your current rate of speed just isn’t good enough. Pressing the Space Bar will activate 'Turbo Boost’, allowing your tail flapping to increase extremely. However, a turbo boost will only be accessible for a certain amount of time, depending on how many energy boosters the player has collected throughout the "tunnel".

The ‘Turbo Boost Bar’ is located at the bottom left corner of the screen (along with the number of energy boosters the player has collected). When Turbo Boost is activated, the bar will slowly go down (vertically). When the bar has reached it’s end, the turbo boost will stop. Not to worry, the ‘Turbo Boost Bar’ will slightly increase after the player has collected enough energy boosters to refuel the itself.
NOTE: Collecting and activating one energy booster will act as one second of Turbo Boost time. Collecting seven energy boosters acts as the maximum Turbo Boost time limit, seven seconds.

Single and Multiplayer features:

Race to Creation is a single player and multiplayer racing game. The player is given an option of either a horizontal or vertical split screen when playing multiplayer. A total of two players can partake in multiplayer.
Multiplayer will feature a “player 1” and “player 2” icon that appears over both players’ race pods (sperm cells) to identify each other amongst the many opponents.

Mini-games/Bonus Material:

Mini-games are accessible after the primary game is beaten. A list of the current mini-games is below.

• “Sperm Shooter”- Enjoy 15 levels of bizarre and hilarious gameplay. Equipped with an irregularly shaped gun loaded with sperm cells, shoot (fertilize) as many dropping egg cells as you can within the time limit. Your score is based on the total amount of egg cells fertilized at the end of each level.

- Challenge: The rate of dropping egg cells increases in speed and number each level.
- Set up: Egg cells drop vertically (from top to bottom of screen). The barrel of the gun, located at the bottom middle of the screen, is mouse sensitive; meaning the gun will stay positioned while you are free to aim. Guide the cross-hair around the screen, shooting the passerby egg cells.

• “Fertilize Fever”- Concentrating on a new perspective, now play as the amazing egg cell! At the start of each level, you will control a small, single egg cell. Press the left and right arrow keys to maneuver horizontally across the bottom axis of the screen, catching the falling sperm cells. Once a sperm cell is captured, you will be rewarded with an inflation in size, making the challenge a bit easier. Beware, for evil spermicidal droplets have found their way into the fallopian tubes as well! Catching these will terminate your inflation, forcing you back to your smaller state, immobilize your actions, and prevent all sperm cells from entering the egg for a short period of time.

- Challenge: The amount and speed of the sperm cells will increase each level, as well as spermicidal droplets. Be careful!
- Set up: Sperm cells and spermicidal droplets will fall vertically (from top to bottom of screen). Catch the sperm cells, by guiding yourself across the horizontal axis.

• “Speedy Sperm”- Somewhat of an “exercise” race - play as a single sperm cell, sprinting to the finish line against a herd of energetic egg-getters. A lineup of competitors will appear on the far left of the screen. Once the race has begun, a letter key will be shown. Repetitively tap the assigned letter key, quickly, as this rapid motion is equivalent to the flapping of your sperm cell’s tail (the faster you tap, the faster your sperm cell will move across the screen). However, the letter key in which you are assigned to tap, in order to progress, will change quite often - requiring your reaction time between letter keys to be precise! When a player nears the finish line, if not ahead, the assigned letter will change extremely fast. Sometimes during play, the letter keys SPACE or ENTER may appear onscreen. When either of these particular keys are assigned, rapidly tapping them will offer your sperm cell a “turbo boost”! This will enable your sperm cell to progress even faster than it’s regular speed...hauling sperm butt!

- Challenge: The letter key in which you are assigned to tap repetitively will change rather quickly. Requires an acceptably good reaction time between keys to progress successfully.
- Set up: A lineup of sperm cells is presented on the far left of the screen, along with a finish line near the far right. Tap the assigned letter key to travel at a respectible speed.

Enjoy the hilarity that all mini-games offer, while listening to 2D animated sperm cells make uproarious remarks!

Conclusion:

Obviously, this as a humorous (and somewhat educational) game idea- so let me hear you laugh. Feedback is greatly appreciated. Only constructive criticism will be taken seriously.

what is really odd is that we got two sperm cell game ideas in one week LOL :). See the Secondary Index under Racing. You'll find a game idea called Race For Your Life: Speed Demon Semen And I know you didn't copy him since both ideas were added to the index today, so you couldn't have known about his idea. Anyway, your idea was both funny and original :)

An interesting enough setting. Sort of innerspace meets hustler magazine. However, strip the basic setting aside and what do you have? Boost- hardly unique. Knocking aside nearby sperm? Been around since Road Rash on the Mega drive, if not before. Obstacles? Been around forever. In short, the setting is good, but I feel more work is needed on the gameplay aspect for it to make an interesting game. (sorry)

You're right NewMan, these particular gameplay methods have been done before. But take a second and look at how large an audience it has attracted, it must be a particular intriquing concept, no? Road rage and "turbo boost" are two of the many entertaining techniques in so many games. Thanx for your wonderful compliments and critiques, everyone. I hope you found this idea fairly comical :)

I was waiting for a girl to comment on this one. Actually, I think deVil.shadow and Newman both have a pretty good point: that you should go into the obstacles a little more...(Actually I don't think that was what deVil.shadow was aiming at, but I just don't think this game should be made into an educational deal. What kind of obstacles? That puts some interesting pictures in my mind...) As one of my previous comments stated, this proves there are some hilarious people (this is probably a more male oriented sense of humor though) out there, yet don't go from hilarious to boring. (Come up with funny themes and obstacles and...stuff but don't over do it.) I'll try to think up some helpful and funny (Hopefully) additions. Until then. Sparda590

Vee, you're a girl?! hmm, and all this time...well, I must say, I'm especially glad to recieve such an excellent critique from the opposite sex. First of all, I'd like to apologoze for being such a dumbass, as I have totally forgotten to describe the numerous obstacles and enemies throughout this game! I guess this just proves what a " 'bizzy' pimp" I am after all- heh. too buisy to remember important details! With that been said, I will be updating this particular idea of mine as soon as possible. I'd appreciate help contemplating some silly/weird ideas for obstacles and enemies, anyone? ***Comment updated: well, I've updated this idea. Now featuring energy boosters and more! Take a look. A list of obstacles is still under construction :)

You seem to have this one well organized. True, I made some suggestions, but you used them with far more detail than I could have came up with! Although you do have some interesting obstacles, I still stand by this: In racing games your opponents should be diverse. Racing against sperm, sperm, sperm, and more sperm will get a little dull after the humor has worn off. Come on, think of some other, unwelcomed racers...(You could get this game pretty comical if you add the right features) But it isn't my idea, so you do what you want.

Unwelcomed racers?

sparda, unless you know something I don't, I can't seem to think of any other "racers" that enter the fallopian tubes via male organ, or have any interest in fertilizing an egg. Perhaps additional opponets that already exist within the female organs can partake in the race, but I still don't see how a "race to creation" fits any other cell but a sperm cell. Good idea though, maybe I can work something out...

Come on now, this is supposed to be a funny idea. Since there seemed to be a misunderstanding, I'll clear it up. What I was going towards was this: the sperm characters encountering other cells\germs of the body that were already there before them. Therefore, the sperm may regard them as unwelcomed "racers." Hey, in reality sperm are not intelligent enough to know that they are "racing", so why try to keep it too realistic? I didn't mean for the other microscopoc denizens of the body to be interested in fertilizing the egg, just that they might be wondering what the hell the sperm are doing there and want in on their activities. If you are making a game (and a HUMOROUS game at that) whose environments revolve around the human anatomy, why not include other organisms? Don't you think that if you're going to give the sperm humanlike personalities, then they might be able to interact a bit more widely? This is just a thought I had, the game idea is totally yours. (By the way, I'm thinkin up some mini games and new obstacles like you requested. Hehe, sperm shooters.)Edit: If anybody was wondering, it's not what it sounds like. lol.

I'm not too sure what to think of these new additions. You musn't forget: THIS IS A RACING GAME! RACING! In racing games, you should have the option to pick a variety of "vehicles", but this idea is (for some reason) sounding less and less like a racing game each time. I don't know what's up. The "blocker" competitors are described as sluggish creatures that block tunnels. Now is "sluggish" exactly the right word to describe an entertaining, original, and most of all humorous, charater in a racing game? Sorry bizpimp, there's just something missing here. I'm a bit dissapointed and was expecting a little more from the character diversity, but this could still use a little work, and I'm willing to help make it better.

One thing i didn't see in the descriptions was about colour. Since you said this didnt nessesarily has to be realistic, and being the sort of person who is attracted to all things shiny and colourful i demand a rainbow of colours to choose from-Maybe the 'racers' could be colour coded with different shades and effects.sure customisable plates are out of the question but i want freedom of choice!!Vee

How does the Manips skill of seeing what is ahead translate should the player be using one? Longer view range? Radar? Other than that I hate it- Been gone for ages, so was hoping to tear the first idea to sheads, instead I find that which once was a vaguely amusing but totally unexceptional racing game has become a characterful, inventive and potentially very fun game. I cannot think of any real criticism I can level at it. D**n. Next time, Biz, next time . . .

well biz i got your e-mail desiring i read this and i'm glad i did(though i'm generally not a racing fan). "racing" different types of sperm to impregnate the egg is a new approach. most racing games deal with hover craft and race cars. you got lots of material on this one biz and its a good concept...as with occupation pimp though i think the censorship bureau might be a lil miffed. than again they used to be miffed at gta and mortal combat. maybe a few more extreme ideas will evolve gaming and push censorship back a lil..we can always dream..oh one more thing the cartoon family gut had a sequence where stewie's sperm was fighting other sperm to get to the egg so i wonder if maybe that was some of your inspiration..lol

Glad you included the mini-games. I agree with Newman: this idea has indeed come a long way! Everything looks pretty good now, but I'm not so sure about '2D animated' sperm cells... That might be the only question I have left. Why 2D? EDIT: It just gets better! Great work including stats for each type of racer!

sorry if there was any confusion, sparda, I was implying that only the mini-games would consist of 2D animated graphics, not the entire game. Reason being, I thought it would be interesting if the mini-games section offered a new experience, visually (then again, the choice of graphics is up to the designers/developers in the long run). Thank you savior, sparda, Vee, NewMan, everyone, for the wonderful feedback; as it is sincerely appreciated. Input is certainly more than welcome. EDIT: I'm glad to hear the present statistics for each sperm cell seem appropriate. If you have any ideas as to extra diversity between each racer's abilities, I'm always open for suggestions. Thanx again.
