Hitman 3

Added things to general gameplay:

Being able to hold two different pistols. This ability disappeared in the second. Along with carrying and firing two small sub machine guns such as: Mini or micro Uzis, M11 or Mac 11 I believe they are called (I should know this I’m a gun nut)

Missions that do not involve only killing one person silently. There were missions in Colombia in the first one and you wouldn’t get a penalty for wasting everyone. In the second there was only one of these missions and it was the last level.

A safe house. A place to keep your weapons and ammo. Similar to the Gontranno Sanctuary, where you would return after every mission, in Hitman 2 yet with a few more features like keeping outfits you bring back from missions (and more which I have yet to brainstorm).

Generally more missions to play. I found myself wanting more after the games were over.

More unlockables. There were only two or three unlockables in the second.

Different types of ammo. Can’t always get that head shot in on the bad guy with the kevlar vest? Use armor piercing! Ammo that can breech locks on doors.

More weapons! A must have no matter what.

I’d like to see that fiber wire out of my inventory for once. In Hitman 2 it always stayed in your inventory. Maybe have a mission where you can’t take it and have to find a different way to do the hit. Maybe take the kitchen knife or take the wire from a piano or have something random like a section of a pipe to beat someone lifeless.

Be a man, use your hands! Someone see through your disguise? Are they about to report you over their radio and you don’t have a weapon available? Break their nose with your fist and prevent that radio from ever being used. Not planning on ever being seen? Sneak up behind someone and put him in a sleeper hold or snap his neck, your choice.

Another problem I saw was that anaesthetic did not last long and the people would just get up after a little bit and it didn’t seem to help. I’d like to see the ability to render someone unconscious, take their clothes, duct tape them to shut them up and keep them from running to get help after they wake up, and finally drag their bodies to a hidden location. Why not kill them you ask? Come on! That bodyguard or whatever might have family he goes home to every night! Plus he’s not your main target.

Human shields. Sometimes the shit may hit the fan and you might have to resort to different methods of getting your target. In other words you might have to kill everyone to get your target if you mess up and get seen. So why take all the hits when you can grab a guy and let him take it?

I noticed that it was harder to walk around in disguise in the second one and I think it should be a little easier.

Taking hostages. Hold a gun to the back of a guard and make him open a door for you and escort you through an area. Warning! This may raise suspicion and it might be best to walk through a crowded area where the weapon can’t be seen.

After your done with your hostage you can pistol whip him or do whatever. Or you could pistol whip the witness running away to tell someone what you just did.

Knives need some work. When your about to sneak up behind someone and cut their throat it’s not best thing if they turn around. I think you should be able to kill someone very easy with a knife but it would be loud of course because he would scream in pain.

Climbing walls and fences. If you don’t want to alert anyone by shooting that lock and you can’t pick it then just climb the wall. Simple.

I think there should be one major addition. I think there should be another agent fighting along side 47. A woman. Yes a woman. A professional killer just like 47 but who can use her womanly charm to get to certain places. She could move a bit faster and be a bit quieter but lack some things 47 has. She wouldn’t be able to fire large weapons as easy as 47 and she wouldn’t be able to carry as much. The character would be automatically pre chosen for each mission but you would be able to choose after completing the game and have a whole new gaming experience. She wouldn’t be able to take the uniform of a male and walk around as him because it would be too noticeable. Plus new features would be added for her which I haven’t thought of yet.

Throwing knives would be fun. A quick way to dispose of someone without having to waste time drawing a weapon.. 47 Could just quickly reach into his jacket grab one and throw it without stumbling around. Of course they wouldn’t have good range.

What ever happened to the disassembled R93 sniper rifle in the briefcase from the first Hitman? It only showed up one time in the first one and didn’t make an appearance in the second one. The first mission in St. Petersburg in Hitman 2 involved getting a sniper rifle and killing your target from the opposite building. You had to carry the damned thing and risk being seen. I could have saved some time had I been able to walk up with a briefcase.

More mission locations. Places I’d like to see in a new Hitman (some have already been used in the previous games): South America (Colombia was fun). Russia (also fun) and other snowy areas like the Arctic. Desert areas: Africa or somewhere in the middle east. Hong Kong, China. Japan. New York City. A mission in a jumbo jet maybe. Possibly a cruise liner mission. A swampy area maybe.

Customizing weapons? Put on a silencer, laser sight and tactical flashlight on that handgun and your ready to go. Or put a better scope on your sniper rifle. Want some more ammo for your handgun? Use an extended clip. You could also use an M4 or another assault rifle and use one of those clips with the 1 or 2 other clips strapped to the side so when one is used up you flip it over.

Picking up bodies to hide them. You could be able to put the body into a locker or chuck it out a window or throw it overboard if your on a boat.

The ability to look through a keyhole or peephole and aim like that to shoot through the door.

I was thinking of including some type of online gameplay but I don't see any way it could be done.

Another thing is having a tranquilizer gun. Knock em out from a distance.

I was thinking of a name in addition to Hitman 3. Something like:
Hitman 3: See No Evil. Send me an email for title ideas.

I recently saw that a Hitman 3 was coming out in 2004. All i know is the title, Hitman 3: Contract. I don't know how true this info is but if you can find more information on it please send me an email. Thanks.

That’s all I can think of for now. Send me an email if you have any ideas, questions, comments, or send your criticism (please be polite if you do criticize my ideas).

i have to admit i was biased frontier.lol. usaully if a game idea is based on one already out there i'm more reluctant to read it. however this is great stuff. you've definetly given agent 47 more creative ways to kill his targets(piano wire, throwing knives, etc) and the additional pressence of a female character would be nice. using human shields and making the enviorments more interactive add a whole new scope of depth to the game as well. if these options would have been in the first two hitman games i proably would have enjoyed them alot more.

I agree, a female agent would be an interesting twist, especially if she were a playable character, not a party member. I advise anyone with time to spare to go ahead and overlook this idea, as it does have some particulary good points. However, the probability for the developers of the Hitman series to acknowledge such ideas are significantly low. As always, in my opinion, sequels for games already in the making should be left to the rightful developers. Good work though. Perhaps organizing this brainstorm of ideas into a complete document (gameplay mechanics and such), this idea could catch more attention, as I'm sure it would be redirected to the primary index...
