1000 Garrisons

MEDIEVAL

1000 Garrisons would be an epic MMOPRG with an FPS style of fighting. This means you will move arround in 3rd person mode, pick up items, have a pack for storage, but when you equip a weapon and go into fight mode you will switch to first person mode just like Half Life or any other FPS. It will be a little faster movement then in real life just so people dont get bored. The game would take place in Midieval, WWI, and WWII Europe. The map would be Europe, littered with small camps and garrisons of enemy soldiers. When you open the game you will have 3 ages to chose from, Midieval, WWI and WWII. If you choose Midieval then you will be English. Once you have chosen your sex and various physical preferences you must choose skills. You will be allowed a few different paths.

1.Leadership-The leadership path will give you a slight bonus to damage and speed. Leaders start out with a copper chest plate. The Leader can use any weapon and work well with it. Every squad must have someone with Leadership skill in order to leave the stronghold for an attack. The leader will gain slightly more XP then the other players in a victory, and as a Leader's victory level goes up the leader will be asked to lead more important raids.

2.Archery-This will add to running speed for a quick retreat, the char is equipped with a bow and arrow and a tunic with breeches, at the begining the shooters hands are unsteady but as experience is gained the archer will steady out and eventually have a slight auto aim.

3.Knight-The Knight will start out slow weak and lanky, a knight is also only given light leather armor. But it will only take a few won duels and raids and the knight will bulk up quickly in stregnth, agility, and speed.

4.Scout-The scout will be given a small copper shield, a light short sword and a low range short bow. Scouts are as fast as archers, they are very agile and great in hand to hand combat but are only skilled in light weapons such as a short bow, dagger, or short sword, so they cant inflict much damage for each blow. The greatest skill of a scout are their ability to climb walls with grappling hooks, once in a stronghold they can set fire to building or just go at it with hand to hand combat their enemy.

You start out in a castle, it has a small market in it but is very miltarized. There are high posts for archers and a sturdy gates to keep the enemy out. There is an archery range for turnaments. If you win a turnament you will get money and some xp. There is also dueling, you can challenge someone and if they accept you duel right there, there will be an easily affordable minimum on a duel and the stakes can be raised. If you walk up beside someone and attack them with no warning you will hit them for only 10% of a normal hit and go up 20% for each hit after that untill your at normal 100% damage again. Also in a surprised attack like that if you lose you will lose 50% of your loose money and the person you attack will only lose 10% if they lose. In a duel you will gain no xp, but stakes can be high and there is a large gold profit to be made. There will be NPC's in the market area where you can sell you loot and buy new items. There will be a stable where you can buy a horse, too, so you can form a cavalry charge. After a raid you can also have you wounds mended at an NPC doctor.

The main source of money and XP are raids, there will be countless enemy outposts and garisons, big and small throughout the land. You will gather a group of men or a squad, in order to leave the Castle for a raid you must have someone with Leadership in your squad. Once you have left your castle your will search for an enemy garrison, you will engage in battle. If you die you will lose 25% of your gold and the garrison will get as many reinforcements as they killed and get their dead back. If your squad wins though you will loot each of the dead soldies and get swords, jewelery, money, any personal items, or new weapons, if your lucky you might find a blueprint for a new weapon such as a catapolt or mortar in the main garrison. If you do get these blueprints you will take them back to the NPC king of your castle and one of those new weapons will spawn in the castle in case of an attack. If there are a lot of failed attemps to attack enemy outposts those outposts will become stronger and eventually encroach upon the main castles the enemy will send attacks upon your castle more often. When all of the players castles are overrun and they are down to one castle they will be given NPC soldiers that will fight the enemy to gain back the old castles. Once all 10 are regained the good NPC soldiers will be taken out of the game. This game can never be beaten, every few months more new and different enemy garrisons will be put in.

WWI

If you chose the WWI path you will be able to chose between Russia or Britain. The difference between Russia and Britain is in looks and basic weaponry. There will be 5 Russian Garrisons and 5 British. When making a char you chose Russia or Britain, sex, physical appearence, and some facial features, a name, and create your character. You will find your self standing next to a bunk, in a barracks, your in your pajamas, you open you clothes drawer, there are a few different things to wear, assortments of camo, plain green, and brown clothes. Once this has been done you step outside and theres an officer telling you to go to the supply depot. So you find your way arround camp, once your there you will see a man at a counter, he'll walk arround with you and show you and tell you about the different weapons on the wall. You will chose one and step out of the building and theres your officer telling you to go to the shooting range, you go there and there are 4 things to chose from,

1.Leadership-The same rules with leadership apply as for all three ages. You will get a basic bolt action Naugant, open sights, and a back up revolver.

2.Sniper-The sniper is slow on the move but can equip a guilli suit and easily blend in. Also a sniper has a very steady shot to begin with and can shoot accuratly from very far away. The sniper will get a bolt action Naugant with a scope. As the sniper progresses in level he will gain a slight auto aim.

3.Assult-Assult is pretty fast and can fight well in close quarters and hand to hand combat using the butt of his bolt action Naugant or any other gun. Assult soldiers dont have a very accurate shot but are very good for rushing into a garrison and taking it over by brute force. The largest advantage to the assult is their ability to plant and use a machine gun.

4.Demo-The demolition soldier has land mines, can disperse grenades to troops in his squad, and plant explosives to clear barbed wire or brick walls. He can also call in artillery if his home castle has one. Demos are slow not very good at and to hand, are given a Naugant, and have a little better shot then an assult soldier.

Which ever one you choose you will be given a briefing and take a few shots, if your a demo you will try out each explosive. Then be sent out to one of 5 Russian Garrisons.

If you chose Britain then you will use an Enfield and wear slightly different cammo and clothes. All the skills will remain the same though.

You can earn money through placing high in sharpshooting contests or fist fight other players while in the garrison. Stakes on agreed figts and random fights will be the same in all three ages. You will have a choice between buying a horse, or a car as long as you have enough money. The other way of making money will be to form with other players into a squad and attack small or large enemy garrisons, if you succeed there there will be loot all over, in bodys, on shelves, in drawers, anywhere, so you would take anything of value and sell it to others or NPC's at the safe starting garrisons, or you can get some buddys together and play a game of cards and bet with your loot. You can collect money and items, and as your character progresses you will go up in rank, with that, your shot with a gun or bow will become steadier, or in hand to hand combat you will inflict a faster and stronger blow. There will be many enemy garrisons to defeat, after a few months more garrisons will be patched in, these more difficult, and unique, or there will be mass paradrops(WWIII) or Convoys(WWI/Midieval) of enemy soldiers which will take back old garrisons and creat new smaller ones. If the enemy Germans overrun the english and and the british to two garrisons then a huge shipment of American NPC soldiers will come in and gain back the garrisons for the players.

WWII

The World War 2 part will have the same basic idea with the same races. The major change in WWII will be the vehicles and weapon selection. There will be Tanks, Mortars, Half Track trucks, jeeps, and planes. The planes will only be located in maybe 2 or 4 Garrisons, anyone can learn to drive one, it will be pretty basic like in Battlefield 1942. But the enemy garrisons will have heavy anti aircraft that way the game cant be dominated by planes. There will be no nuke. In order to get a tank or a half track a squad must be formed and together buy the vehicle before an attack. The hand held weapon selection will be very different. Snipers will get a bolt action 3006 with a high powered scope much more sophisticated. The Leader will get a Tommy gun sub machine gun. The Demo will now be a Demo and an Engineer in one, so he will get an M1 Garand, and the assult will get an M1 Carbine. These are just thier starting guns. There will be a 30 cal. Browning Automatic Rifle, and a 30 and 50 Cal. machine gun which can be best shot with 2 guys on it, one feeding one firing. There will be shotguns available in stores, and a variety of weapons can be picked off the enemy. I think this would be one of the best ideas for an MMORPG/FPS Co-op Conquest game.
