Story:

In the story mode you play as Happy Gilmore and the story mode plays like the movie where Happy has to beat Shooter Magavin to get his Grandmas house back as well as competing in many other tournaments along the way. Throughout the story mode you will have many cut scenes like Happy dancing with his girlfriend at the Ice Rink.

Exhibition:

In the exhibition mode you can play against the computer or a friend, you can play all of the games in golf such as stroke play.

All of the characters will have special abilities like Happy having the ability to hit the ball a long range and Shooter Magavin being good at putting.

You will have the option of playing at well-known courses from around the world.

Crazy golf:

Crazy golf mode is where you can play a game of crazy golf against a friend or the computer the game will be played at the place, which was featured in the movie with the obstacles like the clown in your way. Also you can create crazy golf hole to play on, or create a crazy golf park, which consists of 18 holes.

Online play:

Online play mode is where you can play against other golfers online as well as share your crazy golf holes. You can also download mini games online.

Mini games:

Mini games mode has three mini games in which you can play.

Throwing the club: Trying to throw the club further than your opposition. You will throw the club like you are driving the ball.

Break the ice: Trying to get the hardest hit into the ice hockey net by hitting the puck with Happy   Gilmore’s ice hockey stick. An indicator above the net will give you the power of your shot.

Beating your opponent: A beat em up where you can beat up anyone on the golf course or hockey rink. You will basically just go around beating people up.

Create a crazy golf park:

In create a crazy golf park mode you will be able to build a crazy golf park consisting of the crazy golf holes that you have made. You will be able to pick the theme, time, size, and name of your park.

Create a crazy golf hole:

In create a crazy golf hole you will be able to create a crazy golf hole from scratch, at the start you will

have to determine the size and the colour of the hole, then you will be able to pick ramps, obstacles, and objects to place in the hole and of course name it. There will also be pre-made holes to play on.

Create a golfer:

Create a golfer mode is where obviously you create a golfer. When you create a golfer you will have to give him/her a name, decide where he/she comes from, and write a profile about the person. You will have to decide every aspect of the character from the shoelace colour to the hair.

Practice:

In the practice mode you can decide weather to learn everything about the game with Chubs helping you or you can just play a round of golf.

  In the game you will have the option to use the real swing mode like in links 2004 or you can use the clicker system used in Tiger Woods 2000 in the clicker system you will have to press a button to determine the power and accuracy of the shot, the clicker system is there because the game would appeal to a wider audience and many people prefer to use the clicker system in a golf game.

The game would be arcade/simulation and it would just be like links is played.

The fun modes are there to put a bit of variety into the game.
