Learn Game Programming
DeVry's Game and Simulation Programming curriculum will prepare you for taking on various development roles in the game industry.
Game Art & Design Degree
Westwoods’s game art & design program will teach you everything you will need to know before you apply for a job in the game industry.

When you are playing an online game like Unreal Tournament, or that kind of game, isn't it a hassle that when you want to chat with other players especially in a team game, you need to stop and type and you get typekills a lot. Well, my idea would rid us of that problem (hopefully)

Imagine a headset, a mic and earphones, plugged in to the system. First of all it makes the sound system in the game even more realistic. Secondly, say press T and start talking and everyone would be able to hear you. Press T again to stop talking. (just like an RT, over , roger, etc) Press V for Team chat and you can say whatever you want.

The only problem that I foresee is swearing. So during these online games, someone can act as the Administrator. Usually someone with the most experience points at the game ( i.e. good player, never got kicked, often get voted, etc) Everytime you play you earn Experience points and if you have the most, you can be the administrator. If someone says something you dont like or swearing, the admin can kick any player. If a player gets kicked, he/she will lose exp points.

wouldnt it be good to be able to hear other player's voice and have you voice in the game? I would imagine it isn't something really hard to do. It is like combining online telephony and online gaming. you can actually strategise before an attack, or defense.

What a great idea...wait, what you're describing is basically the Xbox Live Communicator, only for PC. This really wouldn't work because whereas every Xbox Live owner is guaranteed to have a headset (it comes with it), PC owners would have to buy one seperately. Problem: very few people go out and buy headsets, so to somehow find and gather every gamer with one into a Lobbby for a specific game would be a difficult task.

TeamSpeak 2.0, Roger Wilco!, etc. All of this is done already.
