The year is 2020, the world has slowly become a robotic society. Everything is automated, most cashiers are now robots or smart computers that scan our credit chips and automatically withdraws money from our account to theirs. People seldom meet and fight too because all the fighting are done using fingers (keyboard) or using bots (everyone has a bodyguard/helper robot who will fight in our stead). The world is a peaceful place because there is seldom any crime because once a crime is committed, a chip in our brain registers that and the police can get to you in 2 minutes.

10 years ago, you and your family decided to move to the city of SIMSHI because you didn’t want to be caught up in the electronic world. To you, the computers, programs are killing the culture and human nature. SIMSHI is a haven for people who want to live simple lives, eating simple foods, more or less like a trailer park.

As the technology improves, so did the robots. They got smarter, stronger and worst thing is they now register emotions like frustration, anger, stress, and mental exhaustion! As us humans continue to live peacefully, little did we know that while we sleep, the robots communicate with each other using radio waves. Little did we know that they were up to something.

2020 March 31^st, a day that would go down in history, the robots revolted. They started a strike and it gets worst, they wanted to take over the world and kill their owners or use them as their slaves. Many perished that day and the rest were all brought to slave camps. A handful managed to escape. They had no other place to turn and they came to SIMSHI.

Your mission is to set up the defenses of SIMSHI, gather resources and build weapons. The bots are certainly going to come for you and you have to protect your city at all cost. If possible, you would need to claim back other cities and free the people from slave camps all the while making yourself stronger and building up your army.

This game is a combination of Stronghold (defending) and Baldur’s Gate (RPG with other characters). You never know when people would be attacking SIMSHI, but you have to be prepared. If you are out on another mission, be sure that it is close enough so that you can return to help defend the city.

Of course along the way you build up experience and credits, meet with other escapees that may help you, find some useful items that may help your quest, and tiny quests with big rewards.
