Learn Game Programming
DeVry's Game and Simulation Programming curriculum will prepare you for taking on various development roles in the game industry.
Game Art & Design Degree
Westwoods’s game art & design program will teach you everything you will need to know before you apply for a job in the game industry.
Bust-a-Groove

The object of the game is to match up 3 bubbles that all have
the same instrument inside them. You help Busta, a cool hip-hop DJ
in desperate need of a new mix, create a stylish peice of music by
matching up like bubbles. The screen starts off half filled with
bubbles. Each bubble has an instrament inside (either a guitar, drum,
horn, or keyboard) You only have a certain ammount of time to get rid
of all the bubbles on the screen. You can get rid of bubbles by matching
up 3 in a row in any direction. When you get three in a row, they burst,
and the instrument falls. You can catch the ones you want to keep in
a box. You have certain objectives in each level, and as long as you
meat those objectives, you can catch any number of other instraments.
(like catch at least 6 drums and 2 keyboards to move to the next stage).
The game keeps track of which instruments you catch the most ofand totals
them up in the end to create the tune - you get to hear Busta's tune.
You never get the same tune twice. For example, if you popped more bubbles
with keyboards inside and hardly any with drums, then it'll sound more
like a piano solo than a hip tune. The choice is yours.

It's just a copy of bust-a-move a well selling game that was made around 1995. Copying isn't original.

It may be based on bust-a-move, but the music creation is fairly original. I haven't seen that in any game yet. I'd like to try and make something of this idea, please email Jonathan.Gover@btinternet.com
