Summary: The game is basically a tactical action FPS with a medieval fantasy twist. Players join games by joining an adventuring party. Each map has certain objectives: be it capturing a powerful artifact, or collecting gold, or otherwise. Using both brain and brawn, work with your adventuring partners to get the job done... and screw other parties on the way.
Story: Throw in any cheesy medieval fantasy plot. Like anyone is going to care.
Gameplay: When you join a party, you select certain character classes. You get the typical RPG mix bag, seperated into two alignments: Order and Chaos. For Order, you have Crusader, Ranger, Mage, and Cleric. For Chaos, you have Dark Knight, Assassin, Warlock, and Necromancer. There are also classes of no alignment such as Rogues and Mercenaries. Each party can only take characters of one alignment plus others of no alignment.
You'd start a round by buying weapons, armor, and spell components in a general store. Then you go out and hunt down whatever objective the map calls for. When you meet other parties, kill them! Warriors are good for meele; Rogue types move around shadows and backstabs; Spellcasters sling spells and counter-spells.
Map Objectives: Here is the fun part. Some of the ideas are as follows: (1) The Haunted Forest. All of the parties start in the middle of a forest, surrounded by monsters (bots). The last party that remains on the field wins. It might be a good idea to team up at first, but then, it really wouldn't hurt to backstab someone in the middle of it all... (2) The Treasure Room. Each of the parties start from an edge of a maze. Treasures are spread throughout the dungeon and the party that collects the most treasure in the end wins. Treasures must be bought to an exit in order to be accounted for a party; carrying treasure causes you to move slower, and of course, if you die, the other party would be free to steal your treasure. (3) Protect The King. Half of the adventuring parties will be attempting to assassinate a King, the others his protector. The King is a bot than can't do much but follow other people if needed be. For the hunters, the party that hunted down the king will win; for the protectors, if the king is not dead at a set amount of time, the party with the most kills win. (4) The Ultimate Artifact. Each of the adventuring party will attempt to steal an ultimate artifact. Before the artifact is stolen by anyone, killing is free for all; when the artifact is stolen, however, all parties can only fight against the party with the artifact. Of course, the artifact gives an adventuring party some immense powers to even the odds. The last party standing wins.
